EN 15048 contains regulations governing products used for the design, calculation and manufacture of non-preloaded bolt connections for steel structures. Part 1 sets out the general requirements and part 2 the suitability test.

THIS MEANS THAT: • Nuts and bolts shall be packed and supplied in the original and unopened box • Surface treatments on the nuts and bolts may only be applied under the manufacturer's supervision • Product shall be labelled with: – CE marking – Lot number – Reference to EN 15048-1 – “SB” marking – Dimension – Property class marking – Product designation (ISO standard for bolts ISO 4014 or 4017 and nuts ISO 4032 or ISO 4033) • The nuts and bolts shall be marked with: – Property class marking – Special marking “SB” (Structural Bolting) – Identification mark of the manufacturer of the assembly

We can offer EUR pallets in standard size. EUR pallets are frequently used logistic tools. EUR pallets have dimensions 1200 x 800 mm, based on international standardized module of packaging 600 x 400 mm.
EUROPEAN LEGISLATION EN 15048 regulates the requirements for assemblies for non-preloaded fixing connections. The use of bolt and nut assemblies in steel constructions simplifies the proof of suitability of fixing connections. Assemblies consist of a matching bolt and nut with the same coating. All requirements for hot-dip galvanized fasteners require a choice of special materials for the manufacturing process. The tempering temperature needs to be clearly above the minimum value and in addition the bolt needs to absorb the prescribed tensile force, despite the lower tensile stress area due to undersize/minus allowance. Differing thread tolerances between bolts and nuts also have an influence on the tensile strength of the assembly. The functionality of DIV bolt and nut assemblies is precisely and comprehensively determined through tensile tests. DIV also carries out a notch impact test at -20°C in its own laboratory, in order to guarantee the quality in cold conditions. Additionally, all prescribed requirements and additional tests are guaranteed and documented accordingly. The hot-dip galvanized hexagon bolts of SB sets are marked with DIV’s manufacturer label, property class – for the grade, SB – for structural bolting, and U – for thread tolerance 6az before coating. For later reconstruction of the manufacturing process DIV bolts receive an additional marking. The CE mark requirement is set by the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and the European standard EN 1090-1. This takes account of the starting points for the calculations as laid down in the relevant parts of standard EN 1993 series Design and calculation of steel structures. This European standard sets the requirements for the manufacturing properties and, where applicable, the properties of the structural design and the construction calculation. The parts can be used directly in a building structure or as construction parts in the form of a construction kit. The standard applies to construction parts in series and one-off manufactured components, including construction kits.
