For Christa and April Zuniga, their journey with Microgreens came about in early 2017 when April became very ill with an autoimmune disorder. For over two years, they researched endlessly, tried many different healing methods, and began eating healthier. This new lifestyle led them to start growing their own foods to ensure their family was getting the best possible nutrients, grown with the most trustworthy methods. They started with a small garden in their backyard then learned about Microgreens and decided to start growing those as well. They learned that if you are putting a lot of vitamins and nutrients into your body, your body will absorb those to try and heal itself. They noticed a huge difference in April’s body after introducing Microgreens, so they decided to start offering them to others as well. “When we learned of Microgreens and their nutrient density and we saw how they were helping April, it was a no-brainer. We had to start growing them for ourselves, our friends, family, and anyone else we could share them with.” Christa says.
