FROM THE EDITOR FEBRUARY IS THE BORDER BETWEEN WINTER AND SPRING ― TERRI GUILLEMETS
February is most often thought of as the “Love” month, mainly because Valentines Day falls right in the middle of the month. Around my house, we don’t particularly “celebrate” Valentines Day because our Anniversary is February 23rd and we always go on a short trip to celebrate that instead. This year we will be married for 23 years! My husband likes to say “It feels like five minutes...... Under water!” February is the month of love, Mardi Gras and Black History Month, all of which should be recognized and if you choose to, celebrate them! I often look at February as the “relaxing” month. With the hustle and bustle of the holidays, then new beginnings in January, February comes in right in the middle of winter and right before spring and offers us a time to catch our breath. So I hope this month, maybe you too can catch your breath and relax a little.
