“Belief in Geometry” was the new theme of this show, according to the articles in the various Frankfurt newspapers, comparing his work, this time, to Oskar Schlemmer and Leonardo. Austere, straightforward, disciplined lines, sensual curves and gentile angles in constant play, repetition and juxtaposition, that were trying describe an inner spiritual wealth objectively and without embellishment. Experimentation with new acquired tools and techniques gave him also new architectural insights and it was at this time that Dirk Marwig began to build his own furniture for his house in Madrid.
