«Carte Blanche à Mahi Binebine» >> Art Exhibition in Rabat
«Carte Blanche Mahi Binebine» près une première expérience en 2010, la Fondation CDG (Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion) a réédité le concept de «Carte Blanche». Cette année, c’est l’artiste-peintre, natif de Marrakech, Mahi Binebine, qui est à l’honneur. «Carte Blanche à Mahi Binebine», tel est le nom de l’exposition collective qui s’est tenue du 24 avril au 8 juin à l’Espace Expressions CDG à Rabat. Pour accompagner ses œuvres, Mahi Binebine a fait appel à sept autres coexposants qui, selon Dina Naciri, Directrice Générale de la Fondation CDG, «excellent dans leur art». Il s’agit de Leila Alaoui, Florence Arnold, Younes Khourassani, Hafid Marbou, Mohamed Mourabiti, Lamia Skiredj, et Monia Touiss. Des artistiques d’obédience artistique diverse, allant de la photographie, à la sculpture, en passant par l’art abstrait, l’art rupestre et matériel, ou encore l’expressionisme. Au total, près d’une vingtaine de tableau invitent les passionnés d’art à admirer la créativité et le goût du raffinement de ces artistes accomplis. Le vernissage de cette exposition, qui a eu lieu le 24 avril, a réuni un nombre important d’invités de marque. Le Ministre de la Culture, M. Mohamed Amine Sbihi, était à la tête de ce beau monde venu admirer le fruit des inspirations de Mahi Binebine et de celle de la nouvelle génération d’artistes qu’il a repéré. Le corps diplomatique accrédité à Rabat n’était pas en reste. Les Ambassadeurs de Finlande et de Hongrie, le Chargé d’Affaires de l’Ambassade de France, ainsi que plusieurs éminents diplomates étrangers ont rehaussé cet événement par leur présence.

fter a first experience in 2010, the Foundation CDG (Caisse de Depot et de Gestion) has reissued the concept of «Carte Blanche». This year, it is the artistpainter, born in Marrakech, Mahi Binebine, which is in the spotlight. «Carte Blanche Mahi Binebine» was the name of the exhibition held from April 24 to June 8 at Espace Expression CDG in Rabat. To accompany his works, Mahi Binebine called seven other co-exhibitors, according to Dina Naciri, Director General of the Foundation CDG, «excelling in their arts». The lucky ones were Leila Alaoui, Florence Arnold, Younes Khourassani, Mabou Hafid, Mohamed Mourabiti, Lamia Skiredj, and Monia Touiss. They all are coming from diverse artistic branchs, from photography to sculpture, to abstract art, rock art and material, or expressionism. In total, nearly two dozen paintings and objects were inviting art lovers to admire not only creativity but also a deep sense of refinement from these accomplished artists. The opening of this exhibition, which took place on April 24, attracted a large number of guests. The Minister of Culture, Mohamed Amine Sbihi, was heading the beautiful people that came to admire the result of inspirations of Mahi Binebine and of the new generation of artists he has spotted. The diplomatic corps accredited to Rabat was not far behind. Ambassadors of Finland and Hungary, the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of France, and several prominent foreign diplomats have raised this event by their presence.
