Besides the fact that they are great looking shoes, they have some very special features that make them unique (see image).

Diabetes feet need special a�en�on. We know this and we design our shoes for foot types which need that extra care.

Leathers and linings are smooth, so� and seamless for the reduc�on of pressure points.

Our shoes are supplied with two interchangeable insoles: a comfortable 5 mm cork/leather foot bed and a 5 mm cork insole, which can be used to compensate the total volume of our shoes. Once both insoles are removed you will get sufficient space for your custom made ortho�cs or insoles.

Next 20 and 21 October the biggest and most important fair for orthopaedic shoe industries will take place in Cologne.

170 exhibitors, 3,900 professional visitors from the tradi�onal health trade professions such as orthopaedic footwear technologies, pedorthists and paramedical houses, will meet in this exibi�on area of 8,350 m².

The 2 days event includes lectures on the important subjects about the condi�ons that demand special shoes and ortho�cs, such as: pedorthic solu�ons, foot and

body posture, plantar fascii�s and diabe�c foot related complica�ons.

At this venue, NM4Y will present the latest news regarding diabe�c shoes. The 2017 Diab collec�on has a great range of off the shelve shoes with some smart features as 2 removable insoles for space adjustments and stretchable leather technology and all of this, ready to delivery and social security cer�fied.

Last month Nimco introduced the 10 good reasons to work at Nimco. We think it is important that our employees develop their talents so we offer them a con�nue training programme.

Besides that, we have a health and safety at work programme in order to make sure that all our work is done in a safe way and that the safety and health of our employees is guaranteed. We work as a team. And that is also very important to us. Every sugges�on of each employees we value.

All these elements makes our company vital. It is proven that vital people are crea�ve, involved and loyal. And they are people who think out of the box. Above that, vital people are less (longer) ill and are pro-ac�ve. In our

rela�onship with our partners we also search for this vital a�tude.

In the Netherlands, Mariska van Vondelen, who works for our Newsle�er, developed a customized interac�ve lecture ‘(More) vital at work’ for companies in order to encourage employees to live vital. The programme is based on the book ‘The 5 principles of a vital lifestyle’, which she wrote with fitness instructor Enrico Brehm.

These 5 principles (see info) are the basis for healthy and vital people/employees. At the lecture the a�enders learn how to apply the principles in their private and working life.

A�erwards employees can have their eat- and movement lifestyle checked.

Nimco has a new sales team in Germany Eight experienced agents will take the specialty shoes for diabetics line to the whole German territory Nimco has a new sales team in Germany. Eight experienced agents will represent the specialty shoes for diabe�cs line in the whole German territory.

From 1 January 2018 on, Nimco Made4You will have a team of agents dedicated exclusively to the German market. These eight representa�ves will commercialize the specialty shoes for our diabe�cs collec�on.

This collec�on, developed in March 2017, is eligible for reimbursement in Germany under the social security license number 31.03.08.0010.

The new associates, who will work as Nimco independent agents, will cons�tute the company’s external service, which, together with a German speaking internal team, aims to strengthen the Nimco label in that country.

With specific qualifica�ons and broad experience in the orthopaedic field, the eight professionals are well known by many German companies due to their successful and long rela�onship with Spannrit.

The crea�on of this team results from an increasing demand for specialty shoes for diabe�cs, no�ced by Nimco since the collec�on’s presenta�on in March, which jus�fies a bigger investment in consul�ng and assistance.

Up un�l now, Nimco footwear has been available in Germany through the Euro-Service-Depots at Euro-Leder, a partnership which will be ending officially on 31 December 2017.

Schuh Technik 2017, a trade fair taking place in Cologne between 20 and 21 October. It was developed in partnership with the subsidiary The Sensible Shoe Company, manufacturer of the famous comfort shoes label Xsensible, which, among other things, resulted in the applica�on of patented extensible leather in models which are very up-to-date with the latest fashion trends.

In the future, besides the collec�on development, Nimco plans to introduce mul�-width systems and launch models for different applica�ons. Seminars and trainings, a webstore, along with a complete marke�ng package and tools for technical applica�on by doctors and foot clinics complete the program.
