lwibc. introduction LWIBC is an eight-month (8) course of Study. Classes are held on its appointed night from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

All students are to attend classes at the appointed place and time. If for any reason the student cannot be in class or knowingly late, it is the responsibility of the student to notify the instructor. Any make-up work should be discussed with the student and instructor. An excessive number of absences and tardiness could result into suspension. You, therefore, must take the class over to remove the incomplete status.

Rights and Privacy All records and personal information given to LWIBC are strictly confidential. Any information given will only be done with the written request and approval of the students.

Dr. Linda f. Horne With a Doctorate of Theology, Dr. Linda F. Horne led a ministry for several years that sought to provide basic life needs to people, along with spiritual needs of the soul. This ministry provided food, clothing, household items, and intangible guidance to the truly needy. From that effort, Dr. Horne became bible college instructor for several years, before followed the direction of God to found Living Word International Bible College.

We greet you in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. St. John 1:1, 4 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

In today’s age there are many who have a passion and hunger for the Word of God. There are also many with a desire to deepen their Christian belief and faith. Therefore, Living Word International Bible College (LWIBC) wishes to aide the saints in reaching that desire to be grounded in the Word of God and boldly standing for truth. This is our mission

at Living Word International Bible College.

LWIBC is not designed for any one specific denomination.

All who wish to examine and study the Word of God, line by line and precepts by precepts are welcomed. Though we are non-denominational, we do base our faith and belief on the birth, life, death, resurrection, and second coming of Jesus Christ and that He is our Lord and Savior.

This school was designed to teach and train Pastors, Preachers, and Lay Members through formal Bible training.

There are many who are ministering without the

benefit of attending Bible College, due to inability to afford the extra expense.

Living Word International Bible College provides an educational opportunity that is available and affordable to all.

LWIBC provides educational courses that will prepare the students for Spiritual growth, Biblical knowledge, Christian living, and/or a Call to Ministry.

Our ultimate desire at LWIBC is to edify the saints and to equip them with what they need to do the work that God has charged them to do.

Don’t seek schooling for the wrong reason. Be more concerned with what you receive from the Word of God, through your hard work and studies that you receive from your school.

God says in His Word, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). It also says that some have rejected knowledge, but we at LWIBC have a desire to provide instructions and educational courses which will prepare the students for Spiritual growth, Biblical knowledge, Christian living and/or a calling into the Ministry.

mission/ Vision Living Word International Bible College (LWIBC) materialized out of a desire or passion of Dr. Linda Horne for a school to teach and train Pastors, Preachers, and Lay members through formal Bible training. There are many who are ministering without the benefit of attending Bible College. Many cannot afford the expenses and many don’t have the opportunity to attend.

The need for true Bible training, the truth of God’s Word, and a love for people made this vision come to pass for Dr. Horne.

It is, therefore, our desire to provide instructions and educational courses which will prepare the students for Spiritual growth, Biblical knowledge, Christian living, and/or a calling into Ministry.

LWIBC. A Brief History

We began as Living Word Outreach Ministries in Farmville, North Carolinaon April 2004. We had a small beginning with just one person heading this project from a home site. The vision for this ministry was very plain, and the mission statement was (and is) to provide basic life needs to the people along with spiritual needs to the soul. This ministry proclaimed the life, death resurrection and second coming of Jesus the Christ to be true and the Word of God as a living Word. Along with the Word of God and love we aspired to provide food, clothing, household items

to the truly needy and direction for those with more demanding circumstances and needs.

The Ministry continued to flourish and we helped as many people as we could. The knowledge that we were doing something to help others was very rewarding.

The desire to do more was constantly before me so I enquired of the Lord. I wanted to see no one in need, not just physically but mentally and spiritually I had done what I knew to do as far as providing them with food and clothes. I had done what I was able to do

as far as directing them to find mental support and medical need concerning their mental need. I always told the Lord that I wanted to teach, Christian things. I wanted to learn about Him and pass it along to His people. I had no idea how God was going to bring it about and I had no clue as to where to begin. So I procrastinated for a while, but the desire was still I attended another bible college and obtained my degree as Doctorate of Theology, and I even taught at that school for two years after my graduation. During this time, there was a young lady who asked me if I would consider teaching some people (who were not seeking a degree) in my home, one night a week or one night a month, which ever was convenient for me. I thought about it but pushed it aside for the moment, until it was again brought before me. This sister was very persistence about it because she said that she wanted to sit down with someone so that they could talk face to face. She made it plain that she wanted to learn more about the Lord, and she promise that she would attend and that she knew more people that would come to. I decided to speak to the president of the school that I was now teaching for to see if he would consider starting a satellite in my area and I would accept the responsible of running the school.

Well that never evolved for reasons unknown to me, and the school that I was working for decided to take a break from enrolling or operating until further notice. Was this God’s way of direction me another way and setting me up for the plan that He has for me. I think so.

So began the birth of Living Word International Ministries Bible College. We did not start out Living Word International, because of state and federal information. The federal and state operate different. Though I could use the name that I

now have and had since 2004 with my EIN, the state declared that I could not because the State of North Carolina already had someone listed with that name. I was informed that the federal had nothing to do with it. I had to then regroup and come up with another name for the ministry and school. It took me three tries with the State of North Carolina to come up with an acceptable name. As I said before, thus began Living Word International Ministries Bible College. In the end of that process, I realized that this was just a part of the plan, because this school will one day be internationally spreading the Word of God which is a Living Word.

This was the beginning. Though the State of North Carolina and the Federal Government said that I could begin a school, I was asking myself, where I go from here. How do I get people interested? I decided that I better enquire of the Lord again, because after all this was His plan and His school.

Non-credited students must register and attend class timely and on the appointed days in order to graduate and receive a diploma.  Non-credited class will be in session for no less than one (1) hour and no more than two (2) hours each session.
