Sports Christione’s athleticism doesn’t only apply to dance.

She also plays soccer (coached by her father) and has been one of the best players on her team .

ABOUT

CHRISTION CHRISTIONE HAS BEEN ENGAGED IN DANCE TRAINING SINCE SHE WAS 3 YEARS OLD, AND HAS BEEN DANCING COMPETITIVELY SINCE SHE WAS 5.

B

orn June 3, 2005, Christione is a 10 year young lady that resides in Maryland with her father (Dion Johnson Sr), mother (Christine Johnson) and brother (Dion Johnson Jr).

She recently completed the fourth grade and will be entering her last year of elementary school in the fall.

When she’s not in school, one of her hobbies is reading, and the Big Nate series are some of her favorite books to read. Christione also enjoys playing board games, drawing and doing hair. It is not uncommon to see her help with her brother’s hair while she is getting her hair done by her mother. Of all of her interests, though, Christione’s love for dance, stands out. Not only is she in dance troupe, which has her involved in several dances, she also likes to dance for fun when she is at home and also teams up with classmates during recess to choreograph dances at school. In addition she participates in liturgical dances at church. Her love for dance is the main focus of this magazine. {end}

being an author

One of Christione’s notable accomplishments is that she became a published author at the age of 7. She and her brother teamed up to coauthor a children’s book entitled, “Dreaming of the Letter A”, that was published in 2012.

She and her family conducted several promotional events where Christione helped present her book and answer questions. A follow-up book about the letter ‘B’ is in the works.

PERFECT

To truly develop skills and a love for an activity, kids must be immersed in it beyond the limited time they are exposed to it in team practices. Therefore, practice must begin at home and then be brought to the competition. A complete practice regime should include some basic STRENGTH TRAINING to tone and strengthen the muscles, basic TECHNIQUES to ensure each move is sharp, FULL ROUTINES executed individually to ensure readiness to combine your individual pieces with the rest of the troupe, and then finally the actual TEAM PRACTICE to bring it all together.
