• A stool that is made from one single sheet of aluminium • Has a modern look that is suitable for commercial used in any cafes or restaurants

• Lightweight • Strong • Using minimum amount of material, yet maximum strength

Inspired by Origami and how paper box is folded.

HOW IT WAS MADE?

• Methods: Lazer cutting 2mm cardboard • Stage: Ideation stage *Model is made to convey the possibility of the concept

IN REAL LIFE?

• 3mm Aluminium sheet is cut by CNC router machine • Taps are bent by machinery and secured by welding • Smooth the surface by sanding then colors anodising for final product

• People have high disposable income • Love picnics, holding indoor and outdoor parties • Are interested in unique designed decorative items

POSSIBILITIES

Method 1: Blow moulding The part is made by plastic blow moulding process with built-in annular snap fit as a fastening method with another part Fig. 06 Blow moulding of dome

Method 2: Injection moulding with sliders The part is created by inject moulding method, compacts with a core, cavity and two sliders: One from the top and one at the bottom. This is the most complex part since the cavity and core require curvilinear indentation.

Method 3: Injection moulding The part represents all the other parts’ production method since all of them will be made by the basic injection moulding method with one cavity and one core.

Why enjoy a cup of tea in ordinary ways when you can make it more fun with Tea Maker?

• Separates tea leaves after brewing • Gives more space for tea to brew • Steel pyramid was specially designed to cool down water, prevents tea from bitterness.
