Dimitris Kosvogiannis Accomplishments as Melia General Manager

Dimitris Kosvogiannis Dimitris Kosvogiannis has worked in hotel and resort management for much of his career – perhaps most notably as the General Manager of several luxury properties within some of the most prestigious destinations in the world. Most recently, Kosvogiannis put his leadership skills to work as the General Manager of Jamaica’s own Braco Village Hotel – an all-inclusive resort destination under the management of Melia Hotels International.

Dimitris Kosvogiannis The government of Jamaica hired Dimitris Kosvogiannis to manage the Hotel in 2014 – upon which time it had been closed for more than two years. Once hired, Kosvogiannis took on the responsibility of overseeing the property’s $50 million refurbishment and reopening – a role in which he worked closely with contractors not only to ensure the property was remade up to Melia brand standards, but that it would also meet shortand long-term operational needs.

Dimitris Kosvogiannis When all was said and done, the Braco Village Hotel refurbishment was complete – and the property operational – within expressly-mandated timeframes and well under budget.
