Guidelines
Students from years 6 to 12 (first year of GCE advanced level studies) can apply.
Fill the application form and return to Mr. Frank Marthinu or email a scanned color copy to oldmazenodiansocialclub@gmail.com by Saturday 13th February 2021.
For successful applicants, school fees will be paid in full for the year 2021. Please note that this is an annual program and students will have to apply and go through the selection process every year.
You must fulfill the selection criteria to process the application. Selection Criteria: • • • • •
Financial hardship due to COVID-19 pandemic or any other reason Good academic record Good standing at school Participate in extracurricular (sports, societies etc.) activities. Vision for the future (how he/she can contribute to the society)
The selection process will be conducted by a committee of teachers appointed by the Rev.Bro. principal with the endorsement from respective sectional heads. Old De Mazenodian social club will perform the final review and provide the endorsement once the successful student applications are submitted by the school.
All the applications will be treated with strict confidence and the information in this application or any information received as part of the selection process will only be shared among the selection committee appointed by Rev.bro. principal, Old De Mazenodian social club committee based in Melbourne Australia and the sponsors based in Australia.
Only one application per student will be allowed. Applications with incorrect or misleading information will be treated unfavorably by the selection committees.
This scholarship program is funded by Mazenodians living in Australia. To maintain the transparency of the program, Old Mazenodian committee will contact the parent/guardian and will request acknowledgement of the scholarship. Please keep a copy of this application for future reference.
The school or Old De Mazenodian social club committee will not accept any appeals. The decisions made by the selection committees will be final.
