DEDICATION

The editors of Tower '80 extend their gratitude to Stephen Halpert for his active, wide range contributions to the Westbrook Campus and Portland community.

Mr. Halpert, a Brown and Harvard graduate, was welcomed to join Westbrook's faculty in 1964. He has served as chairman of the Language and Literature Department for 14 years. His diverse cultural interests have led him to become the curator of photography, here at Westbrook College and an instructor at the Portland School of Art. His classes lend a relaxed, informative atmosphere.
