Dear Gabby

Welcome back to the Dear Gabby column! It was fun watching the kiddos hunting Easter eggs last month. It’s amazing that 10 kids can pick up 5,000 eggs in a yard the size of a football field in 10 minutes, but it takes them a week to pick up 5 toys in a small bedroom. I also saw a 3-year-old pull up apps on a cell phone. I just figured out how to turn mine off without taking the battery out. But, I’m good at minding other people’s business! Drop me a line to Dear Gabby at PostcardsLive.com for some cleverly disguised astute advice.

DEAR GABBY

Spring has sprung, and summer is right around the corner. I am no spring chicken and do not look forward to trying to find cute clothes that are flattering to someone my age. I recently walked into a department store and looked around. Something was missing. Sleeves! What are ladies of a certain age supposed to do? NO RIGHT TO BARE THESE ARMS

DEAR NRTBTA

My body is a temple; ancient and crumbling. We can’t help it, but we can cover it up. I prefer to shop locally, but I’ve done a little online shopping recently for summer clothes. I don’t know why department stores call them fitting rooms anyway, when nothing fits. Let’s be realistic. At our age, we look better with sleeves and pants legs or hose. On the rare occasions that I really need to dress up, the number of runs in my panty hose, and the location of said runs, determines my outfit.
