In semester 2, there are subjects of human pathology, microbial instrumentation, fundamental biochemistry, community development, etc. During the second year of the DMLT course, the first semester includes Human Physiology, Metabolic and Technical Biochemistry, Clinical Hematology, Community Development Activities II, and Technical Microbiology. While in the second semester, students will study histopathological techniques, clinical biochemistry, pathology lab, clinical microbiology, and more.

The course fee of DMLT starts from 20,000 and can go up to 1,00,000. The specialization of the DMLT course can be done in subjects such as radiology, clinical biochemistry, clinical pathology, parasitology, electron microscopy etc.
