THE YONKERS HONDA STORY The story of Yonkers Honda goes all the way back to the 20’s, when Joseph Roth founded Yonkers Motors as a Chevrolet dealer on South Broadway. The family-owned business thrived for many decades and became known by the community as a trustworthy place to buy a car.

In 1970, Joy Gelb, the daughter of Joseph Roth, became one of the first Honda dealers in New York. When she heard of the great potential behind the fuel efficient cars, Joy knew that she wanted in. Within a few years, Joy had grown the Yonkers Motors business and developed a loyal customer following.

She has developed a philosophy of providing high-quality products and even higherquality customer service.

Since that time, the dealership has seen a third generation of family members dedicate their hard work and knowledge to Yonkers Honda. Joy’s daughter, Gaye Feinberg, works in the service department, while her son-inlaw, Bob Feinberg, takes on the role of general manager.
