It is with great pride and excitement, that we present DRUM #2!

Bundling together the debut of several new innovations, significant functionality expansions to our premium core ranges and two massive announcements, there sure is a lot to catch up on in this latest DRUM. As always, we’ve been working hard in the background developing new innovations, integrating the latest technologies into our existing ranges and refining our operational processes to ensure that we are delivering the greatest value possible to our clients and partners.

As a technical project partner, we see it as our responsibility to distill the vast performance specifications and capabilities of our products into clear pieces of information that enable our clients to solve their project challenges with certainty and ease. To this end, accompanying each of these releases is a dedicated webpage where you’ll find comprehensive product specifications, images, photometric files and dimension drawings. The built-in configurator tool for each product allows you to quickly get an understanding of which configurations are possible and to generate a specific datasheet for each available variant. Digilin becomes exclusive distributor for Grünzell After 8 years of cooperation in Queensland, we are stepping up our partnership with Grünzell and will now be supporting the Singaporean company’s products nationally as its exclusive distributor for Australia. Launching FastTrack

Our new FastTrack program will enable you to specify with confidence by guaranteeing a 2-4 week lead time on our most in-demand linear systems and downlights.

We take great pride in the variety of our linear and downlight ranges and the massive breadth of their possible configurations but we also understand that some projects require a conventional configuration, built well and built quickly to send off to site for installation as soon as possible. This is where our FastTrack program comes into play.

Select from 10 of our most popular linear systems in fixed white with an opal diffuser, or our Liberty or Icon recessed downlights for a guaranteed 2-4 week lead time. Digilin will maintain higher stock levels of components and supporting accessories for these products so that our experienced production team can begin manufacture as soon as an order is placed and shop drawings are approved. The program will enable us to continue offering the many products in our linear range while improving the price competitiveness and lead times for those projects where these factors are critical.

Our FastTrack program is another example of how we are refining our operational processes to capture and deliver as much value as possible to our partners and clients. We will closely monitor the success of the FastTrack program and actively look for other products from our ranges to include.

Arbiter

Network DMX controller with web interface Arbiter is a dual-universe DMX lighting controller designed for controlling dynamic lighting installations across multiple separate zones using a local network. This sophisticated controller sends commands to zones globally or individually to run up to 20 of its 255 pre-stored static, dynamic or transparent shows at a time as prompted by scheduling, external closed contact triggers such as PIR sensors and bell switches, or manual control through a web interface.

Arbiter is incredibly versatile and can be configured to suit a massive range of applications and unique installation challenges, ranging from public space applications requiring a plug-and-leave solution to commercial spaces requiring in-the-moment, dynamic control over many separate work areas.

The password protected web interface is easily accessible by anyone on the same internet network as the Arbiter, which provides users with immediate, full DMX manual control of all connected zones. Manual commands are given priority status, meaning that they override scheduled shows without stopping them. This allows facility managers to develop a lighting schedule based on the facility’s ongoing needs, while also providing occupants the flexibility to manage their immediate area as situationally required.

A separate administrator webpage is used for Arbiter’s initial set-up and reconfiguration, allowing facility managers and other users to adapt its functionality to the installation’s ever-changing requirements. New shows can be easily added to Arbiter remotely via FTP. In typical Digilin style, the team is already designing extensions for the Arbiter, which will give this incredible control system even more functionality and make it suitable for an even broader range of applications. Envoy

Low-glare downlight with a variety of optics Designed for high visual comfort, Envoy delivers high colour-rendering, lowglare light output using a deeply-recessed optical lens. This modern downlight is incredibly versatile and offers an extensive breadth of configurable attributes.

Available in models delivering between 700-2500 lumens in 2700K, 3000K, 4000K or 5700K, with multiple lens options while supporting all of Digilin’s control protocols, including mains, DALI, smooth DALI, DMX and Bluetooth, Envoy can be configured to suit almost any application requiring quality light and visual comfort.

Deep fascia The lens is recessed 30mm back from the front of the fascia, ensuring glare-free light output.

Depending on the model and corresponding wattage, Envoy uses one of 3 different size heatsinks. This ensures that the luminaire is as compact as possible while allowing the effective heat dissipation required to guarantee the LED’s long performance life. With a total height of 68mm, the 700 and 1000 lumen group versions use a very shallow heatsink, making them ideal for ceilings with tight recesses. Its modern curved aluminium fascia is available in powder-coated white or black as standard, with custom colours available on request.

Feature 55 & Feature 75 Highly configurable system with an array of beam shaping options Diffusion, reflection, refraction... if there’s a way to shape a light beam, the Feature linear system is capable of it. This highly configurable system is based on a 55mm wide aluminium extrusion body (75mm including a recess flange) available with LED options including multiple white CCTs (800-4400lm), RGB (600-1200lm), RGBW (900-1800lm), variable white (1400-2800lm) and Sunlike 4000K growlight (2400lm).

The Feature series can be fit with 7 different diffusers, reflectors and lenses, enabling it to achieve many different lighting effects, including beam focusing, various degrees of glare reduction and wall washing. Many of the beam options are set back from the bottom face of the profile for improved glare control.

The Feature series is an incredibly capable lighting tool that will give designers the power to precisely shape an installation’s lighting like never before. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring strict glare control, such as in education and office environments. As with all Digilin linear systems, the Feature series is manufactured to custom project lengths and can be combined with any of Digilin’s control protocols.

Durable linear system for facades and landscapes With a multitude of LED and beam angle options housed within a stylish, compact form, Blade is an outstanding example of Digilin’s ability to develop incredibly robust products with versatile performance capabilities.

Blade is ideally suited for the illumination of facades and public spaces, with an adjustable mounting bracket enabling more than 180° range of motion and beam options including 30°, 40°x100°, 70°x100°, 110°x100°, wall-wash and high transmission opal. Available in warm to cool white, RGB, RGBW, variable white and SunLike 4000K growlight versions, Blade can be deployed to realise a broad range of exterior lighting design concepts.

Radiance

Decorative IP65 fixture with glowing cylindrical diffuser Providing soft homogenous 360° light output through a unique cylindrical diffuser, Radiance is designed to contribute visual interest and ambience to high-exposure exterior spaces.

Radiance’s unique acrylic diffuser has reflective indentations shaped into its top and bottom ends, making the escaping light twinkle or glow, depending on its point of exit.

The luminaire is available with a 100mm, 150mm or 200mm clear or frosted diffuser.

Further opportunities for creative expression are offered by variable white versions, with the fixture supporting multiple control protocols including mains, DMX, DALI and Bluetooth.

Although Radiance may look a bit like a delicate candle lantern, the IP65 rated luminaire is very robust and performs excellently in environments with direct exposure to the elements. This makes it ideal for public spaces, landscaping, and the exteriors of commercial buildings.
