Pressoché coevo è il rapporto con Theo Volpatti che in ciascuna edizione della Milanesiana ha partecipato con un contributo filmato, proprio a partire dai suoi lavori fotografici, contributo ogni volta legato al tema della Milanesiana, contributi che sarebbe stato bello ripercorrere in questa mostra.
Almost contemporaneous is its relationship with Theo Volpatti, who has created a film, inspired by his own work as a photographer, for every edition of La Milanesiana. His contributions have always been linked to the Festival’s central theme, contributions it would have been good to remember with this exhibition.
Insomma, come ogni cosa che accade, anche questa mostra è carica di una storia che ci lega e che, insieme, è un nuovo inizio, una nuova forma. E la nuova forma è lo sguardo che, grazie a questa esposizione, si può dare alla ricerca fotografica di Theo Volpatti, finalmente.

The photographic art of Theo Volpatti is, first and foremost, Theo’s struggle with the stories he intends to tell.
