MA. DIANA MAE VENIEGAS
Ma. Diana Mae E. Veniegas
Hi!
My name is Diana, and welcome to my portfolio! Inside is the curated collection of my creative endeavors from the years 2022 - 2023.
While I have a lot of interests I am the most passionate about BIM and Heritage , their cultural significance, and the role it plays in moving towards a more sustainable future – not just for the privileged few, but for everyone.
I am eager to learn from my mentors, and use the experience to cater better designs and research.
I hope you enjoy my works as much as I did making them!

PLAYING WITH VOL - UMES
In my approach to model creation, I find pleasure in experimenting and observing the interaction between various tiles and mold shapes. I derive satisfaction from manipulating diverse patterns to gauge their alignment with molds, pushing their boundaries and exploring their potentials. My primary tool of choice is Revit due to its efficiency and adaptability in modelling curtain wall-based patterns and adaptive models.
Looking ahead, my aspirations include delving into Dynamo and exploring the possibilities of coding to facilitate parametric designs. I am captivated by the visual transformations that occur as shapes extend or contract in response to their underlying frameworks, and the intricate interplay of tiles across a range of patterns.
Project Pavilion
with Arrow tiles
The inception of this project involved the creation of an initial mold, followed by its segmentation into a grid structure based on a predefined pattern. Subsequently, individual tiles were meticulously crafted, and their systematic incorporation ensued as they were precisely situated within the designated grid configurations.

PLAYING WITH MODELS
Twisted Facade
Curtain Wall Based Pattern
For these models, I began by creating an Curtain Based Wall Pattern model within families.
Following this, I positioned the model onto the in-place mass that was generated within the project.
Parametric Facade
Curtain Wall Based Pattern
For these models, I began by creating an Curtain Based Wall Pattern model within families.
Following this, I positioned the model onto the in-place mass that was generated within the project.
Parametric Facade
Generic Adaptive Model
For these models, I began by crafting an adaptive model (left) within families.
The Model is then positioned by it’s main adaptive points on the skeleton surface of the model..

Generic Model
I created this using the Generic model family in revit.
