Pure Maple Syrup is a delicious 100% natural sweetener, However, you may not realize the dramatic nutritional differences between Maple Syrup and other popular sweeteners. For example, 1/4 of a cup of Maple Syrup supplies you with 37% of Health Canada’s suggested daily intake of Riboflavin (also known as vitamin B12). • Maple Syrup contains plenty of Phenolic Compounds which are usually found in tea, berries, red wine, and flax seeds. This includes Abscisic Acid (ABA), which elicits anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic effects.

• Replacing refined sweeteners with Maple Syrup can add to the antioxidant content of your diet. This switch is comparable to replacing refined grains with whole grains.

• Maple Syrup has one of the lowest calorie levels amongst sweetners. Per tablespoon, honey contains 64 calories. whereas Maple Syrup contains only 40.
