Sheila Hartle, DDS

r. Sheila Hartle is honored to be chosen by her peers in the dental community for this year’s Top Dentists in Colorado Springs. Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Hartle received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. While there, she played NCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer, leading the team as captain her senior year. She then received her DDS from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2001, a top ranked program. The sunshine and mountains brought the Hartle Family to Colorado in 2008, and eventually to Colorado Springs in 2011. In 2016, Dr. Hartle founded Hartle Family Dentistry. Her mission in private practice is to provide conservative and compassionate care with excellent results. In light of this, she and the wonderful team at Hartle Family Dentistry allow for personal attention to each patient. She recognizes that dental appointments can be stressful to patients and strives to make each visit relaxed and unhurried with her gentle demeanor. As a family dentist, Dr. Hartle enjoys all facets of her profession while treating all generations. Her desire is to build lasting relationships with her patients. To better serve her patients, Dr. Hartle stays at the forefront of dentistry by attending both national and local continuing education. These groups also provide accountability, foster integrity, and allow her to stay closely connected to the dental specialists who also care for her patients. Dr. Hartle holds membership in the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Colorado Springs Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Hartle enjoys her family above all else. Dr. Hartle and her husband of over twenty years have two teenage sons. As a family, they stay busy at the boy’s sporting events, exploring the mountains, and time with their church community.
