This studio emphasizes a people-centric approach, prioritizing end-user needs, perceptions, and site-specific challenges to establish comprehensive design guidelines The exercise encompasses master planning, grid planning, and the integration of vertical and horizontal circulation, structural systems, and contemporary materials Additionally, the studio explores landscape detailing, universal design principles, financial feasibility, and innovative construction techniques to promote sustainability and efficiency Site extent: Up to 30,000 m²

Concept and Form Development
The site of the Thrissur Mass Housing proposal, is located by the banks of Puzhakkal river The river has a very scenic and serene view There’s also the Sobha City apartments and mall in the North, and the Vilangan Hills in the West Its cultural significance is enhanced by nearby temples, making it a prime location to shape Thrissur’s urban image This project aims to utilize the maximum potential of these views Appreciating these views would bring freshness in the residents' daily lives energize there wellbeing

Honoring the past and conserving its legacy
Project Brief
This was a team project involving six students focused on identifying key areas for urban intervention in Dubai and proposing design strategies on an urban scale. After a comprehensive analysis of the city's urban fabric, our team decided to narrow the scope to a micro-level intervention along the Dubai Water Canal and its surrounding areas. This is my individual contribution to this project focusing on the Jumeirah district, specifically the Jumeirah Archaeological Site, a historically significant yet underutilized and largely overlooked location. The primary challenge was to raise awareness of its existence and reactivate the place, transforming it into an engaging public destination.

Canopy form development and Views
The Mashrabiya Canopy bridges Dubai’s past and present, drawing from Abbasid-era geometric artistry, the desert landscape of Dubai and modern parametric design. Inspired by 8-pointed Mashrabiya pattern and the sand dunes of Arabia, along the canal, creating a dynamic cultural and spatial connection.

The serene waterfront and the historic Jumeirah Archaeological Site create a unique intersection of modernity and antiquity. By introducing a heritage-inspired plaza with cultural activities, green spaces, and a museum experience, this intervention celebrates the Abbasidera legacy while fostering community engagement The project will seamlessly connect the Dubai Canal to the archaeological site, promoting cultural tourism, community interaction, and environmental harmony

Designing a museum near Monemvasia, a historic town located on a rocky island off the south eastern coast of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece, that would showcase exhibits from the Byzantine era During the Byzantine period, Monemvasia was fortified with impressive walls, towers, and gates, which are still visible today The museum should pay a tribute to the town’s rich history and culture The building should cater to tourists and should indulge an enriching experience

Midjourney Work
Creating a cartoon character using Midjourney AI
Developing this cartoon, entailed making detailed observations of a friend’s facial features, expressions, and her activities. This was followed by descriptively prompting Midjourney to execute the task. Using commands like cref and sref to generate the required outcome. Getting the final images took lots of experimentation and iterations in delivering the prompts.
Then, by curating the layout to resemble a children's picture book, balancing images with text to create a playful yet meaningful narrative. Every page was a new piece of the puzzle, from her morning routine to a sweet night’s sleep, capturing the essence of "A Day in Kashyapi’s Life.“
The result? A beautiful, heartfelt gift for a friend. It’s amazing how creativity, AI tools like Midjourney, and thoughtful design can come together to make something truly special
My Singing Journey
1. I started learning Indian Classical Music at the age of Eleven With time, my love for music and the passion for singing grew. Blessed with the guidance of my Gurus (Teachers), I learnt some valuable lessons about maintaining humility and gratitude as an artist, along with vocal coaching I also developed an understanding of the importance of practice and being a lifelong learner
2. After Eight years of training, I achieved the Sangeet Visharad degree (Graduate degree) in Indian Classical Vocals from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, a leading music institute in India.
3. Soon enough, after participating in singing competitions, I started getting recognitions and prizes. Some of these are mentioned ahead
6 In 2024, I formed the first ever Indian Classical Music ensemble in the UAE called ‘Panchatatva’ This is a band of five artists playing Indian instruments such as Sitar and Tabla, with me being the lead singer In an attempt to spread the beauty of Indian Classical music, the band performed six concerts with houseful shows
