Cows like to mix with other cows! And they make friends too! Cows cannot see the colours red and green. Cows can’t vomit. You can lead a cow upstairs but not downstairs because it can’t bend its knees. A cow has one stomach but with four different chambers. Cows only have teeth on the bottom. An average cow chews at least 50 times in a minute and can produce 125 pounds of saliva in a day! The typical cow stands up and sits down about 14 times a day. Cows actually do not bite grass; instead they curl their tongue around it. A cow’s heart beats 60 to 70 times in a minute. An average dairy cow weighs 1,200 pounds. Faizah Aziz

This little boy from the slums of Rayer Bazaar takes a stroll down the road and sits comfortably on a van right under the scorching summer sun! The heat these days is too much to take but the child in the picture looks as chilled out as it gets. Perhaps you can take a walk in the afternoon and be grateful for the goodness in small things!

Beasty, rather than Brainy Giants are huge and strong and they look like humans. They roar like thunder, and can make the earth shake with every step they take. They have a very strong sense of smell, so you might always find them sniffing at everything around them. The funny thing about giants is that the size of their brains is nothing like the size of their huge bodies. The smallest ant can fool the largest giant; this just shows that brain power is always more important than strength or size. afshan sattar

Jimmy Neutron “3… 2… 1… Gotta blast!” And blast he does, for Jimmy Neutron is a genius 11 year old boy who comes up with the coolest and weirdest inventions ever. He goes to school on jet-packs and hover-boards. He also has a robot dog named Goddard, who is full of surprises. Jimmy gets his amazing brain power from his two creators, Steve Oedekerk and Keith Alcorn, who happens to be geniuses
too. When he’s not drawing, Steve is a funny man. On the other hand, Keith is a very talented film maker. Both of them have been friends for a long time. Rad Sharar

The Year of Shadows- Claire Legrand Olivia thought her life was bad enough when her mother left her. But then her father, the head musician of a failing band, moved her and her grandmother to his dark, broken concert hall to save money. The only friend beside her is a cat named Igor.

Fishing for adventure What do you do when you want to live and all you have is a fishing rod? You would use it to catch fish and dine on them? But not Yumi. She chooses to fight a land filled with strange creatures, solve problems and be awesome while she is at it. Yumi, a schoolgirl, travels through this strange land filled with icy walls, pools of water and strange looking fish with
human legs. With the help of her fishing rod, she can swing from one place to another, climb down mountains, and also pull herself forward. Even though the game is a little difficult, if you can run, jump and use your fishing rod properly, this game is a piece of cake. This game is available for Nintendo 3DS. Syed Azraf Zaman
It is on, in the Amazon! Blu and Jewel are now the proud parents of three children. To teach them about the wild, they’re all going on a trip to the Amazon forest. colours, six rocks in one colour and six rocks in another. Allow them to dry. Once the game board and the pieces are complete, go ahead and play! Each person takes a turn placing their rocks on the tic-tac-toe board, trying to be the first player to get three of their rocks in a row; vertically, horizontally or diagonally. If neither player can do that, then it is a draw and you play again. Even if it isn’t raining outside, you would still have great fun playing this indoors. Faizah Aziz
Jewel finds her father, and Blu tries to impress him while Nico and Pedro make a talent contest. Some men even try to cut down trees, sure to destroy the forest. Rio 2 is here, bigger, better and more colourful, with more music and dance than before! Don’t miss out. Namira Shameem

Little Tomy Saved The Kitty
What you’ll need • Paper towels • A glass of water • An empty glass Instructions Twist the paper towels into ropes, these ropes will help you to move the water. Dip one end of the rope into the glass full of water and the other end into the empty glass. After a while, you’ll see that the empty glass of water starts filling up with water.
How does this happen? When the rope gets wet, the water starts moving along the tiny gaps in the towel. The water then starts moving to the empty glass. The empty glass fills with water till there is an even amount of water in each glass. This process is called capillary action and is also seen in plants where water travels from the roots to the rest of the plant. Anka Malik

Starfish are not really fish! Even though their name is “starfish”, they are not related to fish in any way. Starfish are also called sea stars. Their star-like shape gives them this name. Starfish usually have five arms, but there are starfish with 10, 20 or sometimes, even 40 arms. A starfish with 40 arms is called a “sun star.” The starfish’s mouth is situated on the lowerside of its body. Starfish do not have brains like other animals. Unlike other animals, sea water circulates inside a starfish instead of blood. The starfish can survive up to 53 years if they live in the wild. Khatidja Hussein
