Welcome

We're so excited to have your family with us at Traders Point Christian Schools this summer!

Our mission is to challenge and educate students within the framework of a biblical worldview while leading them to a personal faith and transformed life in Jesus Christ.

Our summer programming supports this mission through fun and engaging camps that encourage friendship, creativity, movement, spiritual growth, and exciting new experiences.

Early Childhood

Ages 2-4

Our youngest campers are immersed in fun and exciting themes each week complete with games, songs, and daily take-home projects. We have two age groups for our early childhood friends, ages 2 years and ages 3-4.

Half Day Camp 9 am - 12 pm

Full Day Camp 9 am - 4 pm

Grades K - 3

Grades K-3 are provided with a variety of camps to choose from based on their own personal interest. There's something for everyone whether it's STEM, Fine Arts, Sports, or just enjoying some summer fun and exploration through our Out and About camps that include daily field trips.

Half Day Camp 9 am - 12 pm Choose an AM Camp for every week you are enrolled. Full Day Camp 9 am - 4 pm Choose both an AM and PM camp for every week you are enrolled.

Grades 4 - 6

Grades 4-6 attend a full day of camp as they set out for adventure traveling to fun and exciting destinations. Following morning chapel, we'll leave campus and participate in a variety of daily field trips that include water parks, zoos, horseback riding, museums, and more. There is also an option to attend half-day afternoon athletic camps.

Grades 7 - 10 Theme Park Road Trips

Grab your friends and join us for a mini road trip! Students entering grades 7-10 have the opportunity to make fun memories with old friends as well as new by attending these exciting day trips. Price includes a t-shirt, bus transportation, admission, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and unlimited drinks within the park.

Before and After Care

TPCS offers extended care before and after camp hours. Snacks and a variety of activities are provided. Pre-registration is required to attend.

Take a leap into the land of makebelieve. Catch the itsy bitsy spider, follow Hansel and Gretel's breadcrumbs, or climb Jack's beanstalk. Prepare for a week of dress-up days, imagination, favorite songs, and fun STEM activities.

You've never done art like this! Paint on your back like Michelangelo or with a paintbrush attached to your head! We'll get messy in fun and colorful ways as we use a variety of tools to create our own unique masterpieces.

Diving Deep

Splash into a week of fun as we learn about all of the amazing creatures that God filled the ocean with on the 5th day of creation! Build an ocean in a bottle, make sand art, snorkel for undersea treasures and create your own rainbow fish.

Welcome to the Hawaiian Hullabaloo where you will have an island adventure! We'll learn how to limbo and make our own flower leis. Through fun activities like coconut bowling and making fruit kabobs, we will quickly go from friends to ohana (family).

Calling all nature lovers! Be prepared to explore the great outdoors as we dig through soil, plant flowers, and meet insects up close. Together we'll plant a garden, enjoy butterfly tea parties, and so much more.

Get ready for some barnyard fun! Our junior farmers will enjoy a week full of adventure including arts and crafts, song, and dance. We'll even participate in a hayride around campus and be visited by a few barnyard friends.

American Girl

Grades K-3

Grab your doll and join us for a week of incredible fun. Explore the historical lives of your favorite American Girls as we learn new hairstyles, make fun accessories, throw a fashion show and tea party.

Blowing off STEAM

Launch into a week of explosions as we work collaboratively to launch the highest rocket project, the furthest catapult, and erupt the messiest volcano! Come along as we seek to understand a few of the greatest natural and man-made reactions.

Dribble, pass, and shoot as you sharpen your fundamentals both offense and defense. Daily drills, skill stations, and games all led by our TPCS coaches and Varsity players.

Perfect for younger players who are interested in the game of football. Have fun learning the fundamentals, the positions, offense, defense, and more with our Knights Varsity coaching staff and team.

Boys Basketball Boys Football Camp Construction

Get ready to dig, explore, and build your way into construction at TPCS. We'll use different materials as we mix, pour, and engineer different projects to take home each day.

Jump, tumble, and stunt into this fun and high energy camp. Together we'll learn cheers, chants, kicks, and a routine that will impress your guests at the week end showcase.

Co-Ed Soccer

All skill levels will build on their fundamentals through a variety of skill sessions, games, and activities. Perfect for beginners and those who have played before.

Crazy Camp Creations

Dip into the colorful world of tie dye art, duct tape, mosaics, and paper mâché. Campers learn new techniques and take home 4-5 projects at the end of their week.

Edible Science

Let’s put on our mad scientist caps and step into our culinary lab! We will perform an array of science experiments using the ingredients found in our kitchen.

Engineered

Learn how to use a hammer, drill, and other basic tools as you design daily projects out of wood, legos, and other materials.

Fun Olympics

Grades K-3

Campers compete against each other in a week-long competition of obstacle courses and relays to see which team will be left standing at the end. Let the games begin!

Girls Basketball

Dribble, pass, and shoot as you sharpen your fundamentals both offense and defense. Daily drills, skill stations, and games all led by our TPCS coaches and Varsity players.

Icky Sticky Art

Just as God has made each of us unique, campers will create one-of-a-kind pieces of art to treasure for a lifetime.

Mold paper machè, clay, and concrete to make creations that are as unique as you!

Jedi University

Travel the galaxy with us as we explore what it takes to be a Jedi and fight for the light side. We'll explore fiction but also fact as we learn about the greatest Christian leaders in our faith. Take home projects and daily team battles.

Junior Chef

Take a trip around the world from the comfort of our kitchen! Create pizza from Italy, sushi from Japan, dishes from Mexico, and much more.

Let's Get Messy

Grades K-3

Did someone say food fight? This camp's for anyone who likes to get messy. We'll play fun and creative camp games and conduct experiments that all end in one thing; a mess. Our friends at the fire department will even assist us in cleaning things up at the end of the week.

Mad Scientist

Grab your lab coat and safety goggles for this ooey, gooey, bubbly and sometimes explosive camp! Enjoy a week of hands on, engaging science experiments that are sure to spark the curiosity of any young scientist.

Messy Art

You've never done art like this! Paint on your back like Michelangelo or with a paintbrush attached to your head! We'll get messy in fun and colorful ways as we use a variety of tools to create our own unique masterpieces.

Minecraft

Spawn into the immersive world of Minecraft as we learn the basics of building, mining, and more. Create fun and unique worlds to explore with your friends. Bring your own device.

Nailed It

Step into the popular reality-based tv show where our amateur bakers will compete to replicate fun and creative cakes and other delicious treats.

Ooey Gooey

Grades K-3

Ka-Boom! Learn how different concoctions form a masterpiece. Explore your curiosity as we dive into the perplexing world of science and states of matter. Experience elephant toothpaste, oobleck, and so much more in this hands on lab.

Ooh La La Spa

Treat yourself to a week of pure bliss. Together we'll make sugar scrubs, hand creams, bath salts, and more. We'll enjoy spa-like treats and delicious fruit smoothies.

Out and About

Explore our local community as you participate in daily field trips. Make your own bread at Panera, visit Lions Park, Scoops

Ice Cream, Skyzone, bowling, laser tag, and other exciting destinations. Each week's specific trips are listed online during registration.

Pokemon Party

Do you have what it takes to become a Pokémon master? Campers will get to catch, train, learn, battle, and more! Fun activities will be hands on and each camper will create amazing take-home crafts! Let the journey begin!

Pottery and Glass

Create awesome works of art with clay and glass! A marble maze, wall pocket designs, make believe monsters and deep ocean creatures are just a few of the items we will create. Every camper will use the pottery wheel and all items will be fired.

Combine fun with exploration! Together we'll build and engineer robots while learning AI, visual coding, and machinery.

Grades K-3

Slime Factory

Stretchy, gooey, colorful, irresistible, SLIME! Put your lab coats and safety goggles on to work in our slime factory. Each day a new recipe to create and take home.

So You Think You Can Dance

Get ready to move as we step into a week of dance. We'll learn a mash up of mini routines in different styles of dance including ballet, modern, and hip hop.

Super Hero Academy

Each day will include time to practice your super hero skills by jumping, aiming, and balancing through games and activities that will keep you moving and laughing with your super skilled friends.

The Great Bakeoff

Ready, set, bake! Learn the basics of measuring, mixing and more as we bake breads, cookies, brownies and other sweet treats.

Holiday World Road Trip

Grades 7-10

Grab your friends and join us for a mini road trip! Price includes a t-shirt, bus transportation, admission, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and unlimited drinks within the park. We will depart TPCS at 7 am and return at 10 pm.

Kings Island

Grab your friends and join us for a mini road trip! Price includes a t-shirt, bus transportation, admission, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and unlimited drinks within the park. We will depart TPCS at 7 am and return at 10 pm.

Safe Sitter

Designed to prepare students to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The instructorled class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students will receive certification in basic first aid, universal precautions, and CPR.

Age Requirements

We believe that campers connect with one another and enjoy their experience most when grouped with others in the same age group. That is why our camps are divided into the following categories.

Early Childhood - Ages 2 Years Old

Campers must be 2 years old by June 1st.

Early Childhood - Ages 3 - 4 Years Old

Campers must be three years old by June 1st and FULLY POTTY TRAINED.

Grades K - 3

Campers must be entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade in the fall of the upcoming school year.

Grades 4 - 6

Campers must be entering 4th - 6th grade in the fall of the upcoming school year.

Grades 7 - 10

Campers must be entering 7th - 10th grade in the fall of the upcoming school year.

Discounts

Sibling Discount

15% off 2nd and subsequent siblings when registered in the same week of camp.

Cancellations and Refunds

If canceled on or before March 31st 100% of your camp fees will be refunded.

If canceled on or after April 1st

Families will receive a credit on their account which can then be applied towards another camp this season (pending availability) or saved for use in a future year.

Drop Off and Pick Up Health and Safety

For the safety of our campers, drop off and pick up are done curbside in the front drive at TPCS.

Drop Off

Once entering campus, follow the signs to enter the front drive at our Lower School. Camp staff will be available and prepared to greet your campers with excitement for the day ahead. Parents may drop off 15 minutes before the start of camp unless their camper is enrolled in before-care. Please remain in your vehicles during drop-off and move through the line as quickly as possible.

Pick Up

Camp dismissal will also take place curbside for your convenience. Prior to the start of camp, your family will receive an email with more details about our dismissal process. TPCS utilizes a dismissal app that allows us to expedite our car line, providing you with a minimal wait time. Camp staff will then walk each camper to their car to say goodbye for the day.

Secured Entrance

Doors will remain locked during camp hours with the exception of drop-off and pick-up times. If visiting outside of these hours, you must check in with the front receptionist.

MEDICATION

If your child is feeling sick or experiencing symptoms of an illness, please do not send them to camp. Symptoms include but are not limited to a fever of 100.4 or higher, a cough, body aches, shortness of breath, or loss of taste or smell. Campers must stay home for a minimum of 24 hours after fever breaks without the use of medication, as well as 24 hrs after vomiting.

Any and all medication that needs to be taken during camp hours must be given directly to a camp director. The medication must be in a zip lock bag, labeled with the first and last name of the camper and their date of birth. Medication must be in the original container with the prescription label attached detailing the specific dosage. No child is allowed to keep their medication with their belongings or administer it on their own.

Photographs Field Trips

Unless written notice is provided, TPCS assumes the right to use camp photographs in school and camp promotional materials including print, social media and website. If you wish for your child to not be included in these photographs, you must provide this in writing to summer@tpcs.org.

Each camper must have a signed permission slip from their parent/guardian in order to participate in any camp-sponsored field trip or travel. Permission slips and associated waivers are included in the online registration process.

Food Allergies/Snacks

A light snack will be provided to all campers during AM and PM camps. No snacks will contain peanuts or tree nuts. If your child has a food allergy, you may be more comfortable sending a separate snack which is acceptable. If your child has a severe allergy, please speak with a camp director to instruct them of epi pen use etc.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have to be a TPCS student to attend camp?

Absolutely not! Students from nearly 100 different schools participate in camp at TPCS every summer!

What should I bring to camp each day?

Campers should bring a drawstring bag or backpack, a water bottle, and sunscreen to camp each day. Full-day campers should bring a peanut-free lunch. Preschool campers should also bring a clean change of clothes.

What if I'm interested in a camp that is full?

Registration is first come first serve and many camps fill quickly. If a camp is listed as full, you can place your camper's name on the waitlist. If a spot opens up you will be notified via email.

What is the camper to counselor ratio?

A maximum of 10:1.
