Dreams For Kids DC's 2020 Annual Report. After a record-breaking 2019, DFKDC kicked off 2020 on a high with a successful ice hockey clinic. Then March 2020 hit, and like everyone, our exciting plans for the year were put on hold. Despite the challenges and uncertainty that we all felt, DFKDC drew inspiration from the resiliency of our participants to transform and expand our programming.
Dreams For Kids DC provides life-changing activities that empower children with physical and developmental disabilities to unite with their peers and realize their potential. Too often children with disabilities are isolated without adequate opportunities to participate in physical activities that other children experience daily.
