New Student Laptop Checklist for MAC OS (to be completed before the first day of school) This checklist is to assist parents and students with preparing for the start of the new year at Dexter Southfield. You have already received the student’s login information to move forward with these steps.

1. Install Office 365

> Log in to http://o365.dextersouthfield.org; from there, you can install the Office 365 program needed for the school year > In the top left corner, click on the wording “Office 365.” This will bring you to the install page > Click on “Install Office” and follow the prompts

2. Make sure your new device is set to automatically do Apple updates

3. Apple operating systems should be at the most current version As of spring 2022, Monterey is Apple’s current operating system.
