Captivated by the Costa del Sol The Costa del Sol entices visitors from all regions … temping Brits chasing the sun, Madrilenians escaping the stifling summer heat of the city and even Hollywood hunks such as George Clooney who recently purchased a property in the region.

Not that you need to be a film star to enjoy the laid back relaxed way of life - seemingly endless miles of fine golden sandy beaches, water sports, yachts, boat trips, swimming and chiringuitos serving cold drinks and tasty tapas - that attract millions of Spaniards, expats and tourists to the Costa del Sol each year. A fact that hasn’t been lost on savvy international investors who have snapped up much of the luxury property in Marbella and Puerto Banús, causing shortage of desirable homes and land in prime locations.

Contrary to popular belief the Costa del Sol covers only part of southern Spain’s coastline, sandwiched between the Costa de la Luz towards Gibraltar and the Costa Tropical to the east of Málaga.
