Side Two: The Social Side of the Box

There is enormous power in our relationships. At any given time, we are either building, repairing, or advancing relationships. Where we are on that continuum often relies on elements of trust and accountability.

This side of the box addresses three competencies that most influence and define our social competencies: communicating effectively, building relationships, and displaying interpersonal savvy.

Communicating Effectively: This competency sets the tone for, and becomes the cadence of, your leadership style. We cultivate open communication that anchors to trust building, is positive and human centered, and is designed on the platform of speaking 100% of the truth.

Building Relationships: Being able to effectively develop relationships built on the Belonging Rules creates partnerships based on understanding, trust, open and honest discourse, respect, and achievement of common goals. This competency recalibrates human connection (making people real) with other business goals and imperatives.

Displaying Interpersonal Savvy: Here we take a fresh look at recognizing your own emotions, thoughts, and feelings to better understand how these impact others. We teach how to effectively defuse tense situations and resolve conflict through tact, diplomacy, and solution design, all of which contribute to expanding the scope of belonging. Proficiency in these skills tears down the picket fences that block inclusion and resolution.
