Omaha-based actor, singer, and dancer Lauren Krupski was recently seen with the Omaha Theater Company (at The Rose Theater) in The Sound of Music as Maria, fulfilling a lifelong childhood dream. Also, more recently, she survived The Play That Goes Wrong at the Omaha Community Playhouse—dodging punches, getting stuck in clocks, and being thrown through a window. Krupski is no stranger to the Omaha stage, having performed as Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, Miss Mullins in School of Rock, Mother in A Christmas Story the Musical, and originating roles in the world premieres of Pete the Cat the Musical, Practice House, and Howie D. Back in the Day. Krupski has been seen on stage at the Blue Barn Theatre, the Omaha Community Playhouse, the Great Plains Theatre Commons, and the Holland Performing Arts Center, and has performed educational symphony concerts with world-class orchestras across the United States.
