Fr. Elmer, learned, taught, shared, and lived Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge. He would often say, “Jesus Christ is the Reason for Catholic Central;” that through Him and the intercession of our Blessed Mother, we get closer to God and Heaven.
“It’s hard to say enough kind words about such a wonderful human. Father worked tirelessly to build the new CC. He was such a kind and generous man - and a true believer in Jesus. I had a great conversation with Fr. Elmer just a month ago, and he was in such great spirits and ready to get back to work (at 93!). Fr. Elmer loved life, but he was not afraid of death because he knew it offered a new life. Father continues to be the true embodiment of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge.” - Kevin O’Connor ‘79
