The Student Ticket DRIVE is an annual event that is synonymous with school spirit at Catholic Central. Each year, students sell raffle tickets and collect money for tuition assistance. The seven school days that make up “DRIVE week” are half days and assemblies that promote school spirit and competition among the students, faculty, and staff.

The theme for this year was professional sports. Each grade level represented a professional sports league and the homerooms represented teams within those leagues. The seniors were NFL. The juniors were NBA. The sophomores were NHL. The freshmen were MLB.

The grand total was an unbelievable $802,814.13. That money will go directly toward tuition assistance for next year’s students. Our principal, Fr. Patrick Fulton, CSB, made it clear to the students that many families will be able to receive much-needed financial support toward tuition because of their efforts and generosity. For this achievement, Fr. Fulton rewarded the students with 15 DRIVE holidays. Jason Per ’23 was awarded the David Bullock ’16 Spirit of the DRIVE Award.
