Along the more than 400 kilometres of coast, the landscape rises from the flat child friendly beaches in the south to the prize winning hilly Ice Age landscape at Røsnæs in the north. The calm water along the coast and in the fjords invites to physical activities for big and small alike. The majority of the beaches are child friendly without dangerous currents or unexpected depths, and dogs on a leash are allowed on many beaches.
