Auction Accolades

Spartan Country rallied to show record-breaking support at the 2022 Boots and Bow Ties Auction! The event raised $836,000, including $250,000 contributed to the “Make a Di erence” initiative supporting scholarship assistance. The evening was filled with wonderful moments, including a record 600+ attendees — the largest attendance in school history — a $50,000 “Make a Di erence” challenge from Leo and Patricia Saenger; and the alwaysfavorite puppies finding a “furever” home, generating an additional $25,000 in winning bids. These highlights enhanced the soul-enriching experience of having our community join together at the auction for the first time in two years.

The night’s success was the culmination of many, many months of work by our tireless volunteers and sta , including Boots and Bow Ties Co-Chairs Marjorie Huggins and Suzy Sindelar; Melissa Dawson and our Auction Committee; and Becky Lane and the Advancement Team.
