Get out there & discover Ireland’s looped walks From the relatively easy two hour strolls through our beautiful forest parks or a more challenging spectacular coastal or mountain trail there is something for everyone.

This guide lists the numerous looped walks all over Ireland. Each trailhead listed (starting point for the walk) has facilities such as car parks, picnic areas and information panels about the walks.

As you will see in the guide many trailheads have a number of looped walks starting from them. You can choose the best trail for you in terms of fitness level, time it will take etc.

Along with the listing for each looped walk showing the theme, approximate time required & level of fitness, the map of Ireland is divided in two to show the exact location of all trailheads by county. Each region is also colour coded. A full map of Ireland is located at the back of the guide displaying all trailhead numbers.
