ASSESSMENT (for each award) 75% of the units are internally assessed. 25% of the units are externally assessed by written exam.

FURTHER OPPORTUNITIES BTEC National Level 3 in Applied Science.
PLEASE NOTE: Progression onto A-Level ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. Students will not study this course if they choose Separate Sciences.
Science or Primary Teaching is not possible following BTEC Science. If this is your intended career route please discuss with Mr H Barton
A decision will be made at the end of Year 9 which students will be offered the BTEC Science course and which will study Twenty First Century Science. Text books and revision books will be available to order from school in September to support the course.
