LEFT: M/Y Flying Dragon, Submitted by: Nakhimov Yachts A big saloon on the main deck, a huge sundeck and a balcony in the Owner’s stateroom were among the mandatory requests. The Owner’s cabin also features 3 walk-in wardrobes, Technogym in-wall equipment and a gorgeous steam room with aroma and light therapy, finished in precious onyxes. All four guest cabins are incredibly big for this size with bathrooms finished in Carrara marbles. There are mirror TVs and a modern entertainment system with iPad and iPhone control throughout the yacht. The sundeck features a teak ceiling with yin yang logo including a very special light design with disco lights and a DJ booth. A key aspect of the project is its big interior volumes, modern Asian-style design and interesting exterior colour scheme complete with a dragon. This yacht is a great mixture of Italian & Asian style with modern technologies.
LEFT: STELLA MARIS, Submitted by: VSY The project of this spectacular 72 metre by VSY – entrusted to the expertise of the architect Espen Øino in cooperation with Laurent Giles Naval Architects – is blending traditional elements of design and layout with new variations on a theme – such as the staggered internal decks, the heights of the saloons and the innovative form of the bow. The resulting layout ensures a volume, more usually seen in yachts of greater dimensions, of 2,114 GRT. The yacht is equipped with a certified helideck, a deck for the exclusive use of guests, a separate Owner’s deck, saloons with a finished height of 270 cm and the pleasure - which must surely be an exclusive novelty - of enjoying green landscapes at sea with real house-plants crossing the decks.
RIGHT: MY LOGICA, Submitted by: LOGICA YACHTS srl LOGICA YACHTS imagined a navetta-style vessel that was comfortable, quiet and light-filled with a rational distribution of available space — a boat designed to make the most of everything the Med has to offer. Logica had to be as beautiful as a sailboat of equivalent length, but as roomy and comfortable as three of them. Derived from Brenta Yacht Design studio’s renowned work in sailboat design, the idea behind the yacht’s elegant exterior styling was to import the culture and values of Mediterranean sailing into the world of displacement cruising. She appeals to owners who are genuinely passionate about yachting and the sea.
