CONCEPT
“Equestrian Harmony” is an exquisite apartment concept that seamlessly marries the serene bond between humans and horses with the comforts of a tranquil retreat. Rooted in the deep connection shared by equestrians and their equine companions, this design harmoniously blends equestrian passion with an atmosphere of peaceful relaxation.
Step into the living room, where the essence of horse riding is artfully embodied through a carefully curated palette of materials. Leather-clad furniture invites tactile comfort, evoking the sensation of saddles, while textiles adorned with natural patterns mirror the graceful flow of a horse’s form. Wooden accents, reminiscent of a rustic stable’s ambiance, coalesce effortlessly with modern furniture shapes, symbolizing the unison of time-honored tradition and contemporary living.

DESIGN APPROACH
• To meet the homeowner’s storage needs and love for unique cabinetry, the dining area draws inspiration from nature. With mountain and floral motifs as the focal point, the design reflects her love of natural elements and tea gatherings, creating a serene and harmonious atmosphere.
• To reflect the homeowner’s love for equestrian culture and to bring warmth to the suite in this colder region, the design incorporates rich leather and earthy-toned fabrics. These materials were carefully chosen to create a cozy, inviting atmosphere that complements their passion for horses.
• In the selection of furniture and lighting, varying sizes and heights were used to create a dynamic, layered visual effect, adding depth and interest to the space. To bring a sense of playfulness and balance to the overall design.

The renovation of this city apartment was centered around creating an open and airy space, despite the owner’s extensive collection of books and ceramic displays. The goal was to balance the need for storage and display with a sense of spaciousness, offering relief from the city’s often oppressive environment. With clean lines, ample natural light, and thoughtfully integrated shelving, the design fosters a calm, pressure-free atmosphere for the children to grow up in, blending functionality with an inviting, serene ambiance.

This organization seeks to end world hunger by improving crop genetics, increasing food production quantity and quality, and developing sustainable growing practices using innovative technology and scientific research. Their focus on accessibility and sustainability aims to create a more equitable future for all.
Urban Agriculture
Vertical agriculture creates self-sustaining ecosystems that produce fresh and healthy food with minimal environmental impact using hydroponics. This system maximizes space efficiency and allows for yearround production while reducing waste and pollution. It has the potential to revolutionize food production worldwide by making it more sustainable, efficient, and accessible to communities.
Educational Center
This interactive and educational facility promotes a self-serve, Eco-friendly food chain, showcasing scientists’ work, vegetables, and seeds in a museum to educate visitors. By providing hands-on experiences and resources, it promotes sustainable farming practices and elevates nearby living quality.
Concept
The design draws inspiration from the church, one of history’s first community hubs, a place that naturally gathers people and unites them in pursuit of a shared purpose. With this in mind, the concept for the food research center envisions it as a modern-day “sanctuary” for innovation, where scientists and the public come together, driven by a common goal. Just as faith unites individuals to work towards a greater good, this center aspires to cultivate a shared commitment to improving food systems and enhancing quality of life. The design promotes collaboration, creativity, and progress, establishing a new “belief” in the power of science and community.
Another design inspiration comes from the structure of DNA, reflecting the scientific focus on genetic research. The double-helix shape of DNA, which symbolizes the foundation of life, became a key influence in shaping the design. Flowing lines and layered forms are incorporated to mimic the intricate structure of DNA, creating a space where science and creativity intertwine. This design not only captures the essence of continuous evolution but also embodies the spirit of innovation.
Adaptive Reuse
Adaptive reuse is crucial in interior design as it promotes sustainability while preserving a community’s architectural heritage. By transforming abandoned buildings, designers reduce waste, conserve resources, and creatively adapt spaces to meet modern needs without erasing their historical significance. This approach revitalizes urban areas and aligns with the growing demand for eco-conscious design.
BRT Powerhouse
The choice to repurpose the old power house stems from its prime location. Adjacent to the river, the site offers access to a valuable water resource, while its proximity to major commute routes ensures easy accessibility. Surrounded by residential buildings and schools, the area is densely populated but lacks sufficient local grocery markets. Revitalizing this space not only addresses the community’s needs but also leverages the strategic location to create a sustainable, essential resource hub for the neighborhood.

CONCEPT

The library is an arena of possibility opening both a window into the soul and a door onto the world. Children start exploring the universe author created and developing their imaginations. “Reading is Dreaming With Our Eyes Open” can easily be construed as the connection between authors – the storytellers – and readers and how their words capture a reader’s imagination.
A vivid imagination turns dreams into a reality prompted by well-crafted words that jump off the page. Hence, Design theme and inspiration is the famous fable and modern classic children’s book ‘The Little Prince’ published in 1943 by French aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The simple tale tells the story of a child, the little prince, who travels the bizarre universe gaining wisdom.
