We are committed to continuous improvement, both in product and in process. Among our most significant environmental advancements is discontinuing the use of petroleum-based plasticizers that are typically used to soften extruded yarns and replacing them with phthalate-free, renewable vegetable compounds. We call these innovative yarns TerraStrand.

 TerraStrand, the proprietary name of our yarn, is free of phthalates.

 TerraStrand contains a minimum of 18% renewable vegetable content.

 Every square yard of TerraStrand saves 0.02 gallons of petroleum and 0.41 pounds of CO2 as compared to conventional woven vinyls.

All of our woven placemats and rugs are made in the USA, and finished in our own facility in the USA. Our quality, sustainability, and original design set us apart from all others.

The Chilewich® collection is made in the USA, with the following exceptions: Bloom, Dahlia, Daisy, and Petal made in Taiwan or China.

Chilewich prides itself on originality. We specialize in the design and manufacture of woven vinyl textile products for both residential and commercial use. Vinyl is extremely durable, easy to maintain, and provides us with endless creative possibilities.

Unlike many tabletop products, our textiles can be easily washed with just water and bio-degradable detergents, helping to reduce energy expenditures and laundering costs while maintaining a unique, elegant aesthetic.

Our woven vinyl products also contain Microban® antimicrobial protection. Microban® works continuously for the lifetime of the product to inhibit the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew.

Chilewich textiles are covered by the GreenGuard® program certified by the GreenGuard® Environmental Institute, which protects human health and quality of life through the reduction of chemical exposure and improved indoor air quality.

Placemats Simply wipe clean with soap, water, and sponge. Air dry. and Runners Do not iron. Do not machine wash.

Rugs Best suited to dry surfaces. Vacuum or mop face of mat to clean. Air dry thoroughly. Occasionally lift and air out. Heddle: Do not iron or machine wash. In case of wrinkling, steam lightly using a handheld steamer.

Shag Mats Vacuum, shake out, or hose off to clean. Hang to dry. Occasionally lift and air out.

MINIMUM OPENING ORDER

Shag only: $500.00

NOTE: Minimum opening order is equivalent to approximately 10 dozen tablemats. Minimum of 8 tablemats per SKU.

PAYMENT TERMS

All orders must be prepaid by credit card: Visa/Mastercard/American Express (PLEASE NOTE: C.O.D. orders and debit cards are not accepted.)

ACCOUNT ACTIVITY

Accounts that do not place an order for 6 consecutive months will be subject to reopening procedures and minimums.

HANDLING FEE

Re-orders under $25.00 will be charged a $5.00 processing fee.

BACKORDER POLICY

Orders will be partial shipped as ready, unless specified ship complete at time of order. New orders cannot be added to back orders.

PRICING POLICY

Chilewich believes that both its interests and the interests of its retailers are best served by the implementation of a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy. The MAP Policy provides that each retailer may not advertise the sale of Chilewich products at prices less than the Suggested Retail Price published by Chilewich. THE CHILEWICH MAP POLICY SHALL NOT IN ANY WAY LIMIT A RETAILER’S ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO ESTABLISH AND OFFER, IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, THE RETAIL PRICES FOR CHILEWICH PRODUCTS. Only executive management representatives can approve exceptions to the MAP Policy. Chilewich reserves the right, if a retailer chooses not to comply with the MAP Policy, to suspend or terminate the retailer’s account with Chilewich. AUTHORIZED RETAIL CHANNELS

Chilewich's primary distribution channel is through Chilewich corporately approved retailers with a dedicated storefront. Chilewich Retail Accounts are authorized to resell Chilewich products at their own store locations ONLY. Chilewich Retail Accounts are NOT authorized to place orders for Chilewich products on behalf of third parties or to sell Chilewich products to other retailers or resellers within or outside of their own country without express written approval from Chilewich. Online, catalog or other potential sales channels must have express written approval from Chilewich.

Complete New Account Form and Resale Certificate must arrive to Customer Service prior to processing any orders.

THIRD PARTY MARKETPLACES

Resellers are not authorized to resell Chilewich products through third party online market-places, including but not limited through Amazon, Ebay and the like. Chilewich reserves the right to stop supplying resellers who ignore this notice.

Our B2B website offers retailers access for direct order processing. Benefits include:

WEBSITE POLICY

Chilewich can only make changes to the “Where to Buy” pages of our website once a season.

New retailers are not automatically added to the site. Retailers must contact Chilewich in writing to request that their store be added once they meet the following requirements:

 One year open as an active Chilewich retailer

 $2,500.00 in wholesale shipments per calendar year

Once the written request is made, the change will be made at the discretion of Chilewich Sales Management.

All orders must be prepaid by credit card: Visa/Mastercard/American Express (PLEASE NOTE: C.O.D. orders and debit cards are not accepted.)

ACCOUNT ACTIVITY

Accounts that do not place an order for 6 consecutive months will be subject to reopening procedures and minimums.

HANDLING FEE

Re-orders under $25.00 will be charged a $5.00 processing fee.

BACKORDER POLICY

Orders will be partial shipped as ready, unless specified ship complete at time of order. New orders cannot be added to back orders.

Our B2B website offers retailers access for direct order processing. Benefits include:

 Ability to break pre-pack requirements

 Place drop ship orders direct to customers

 Orders ship within 24 – 48 hrs

WEBSITE POLICY

New retailers are not automatically added to the site. Retailers must contact their sales representative in writing to request that their store be added.

Once the written request is made, the change will be made at the discretion of Chilewich Sales Management.

Watering Cans: 2 per color

All Hachiman buckets and watering cans are made in Japan.
