I’M TAMÁS For me, design never feels like work, rather an experience, a new task to be answered. I have a strong backgound of working at a design studio as a team member, I experienced the procurement, production, construction, installation.

MOME IS FOR MOHOLY-NAGY UNIVERSITY OF ART AND DESIGN. THIS MOME APP IS FOR THE UNIVERSITY’S STUDENTS. DESIGN IS INSPIRED BY THE DEFAULT WEBPAGE.

MY MAIN APPROACH WAS TO CREATE A USEABLE VERSION OF THE APP, WHICH CONTAINS THE NEEDS OF THE STUDENTS. SO I ASKED MY CLASSMATES, WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THEM. THESE ANSWERES HELPED TO CREATE THE BASE WIREFRAME, AND LATER THE DESIGN.

This was my graduation work in graphic design at Buda Art School, I have done this design in 2018, the whole project was made in indesign back in the day. At that time I was working for this studio, so the idea was to create something useable project for the future. Reason for this webdesign was to sell more of these and many other product online.

My interest in UX/UI design started here, since I chose this as my final project. Now as I’m a product designer, I learnt design thinking and I can understand what is important and what is not.

After 6 years this project is live again, so more to come!

this website is about my work under the name of design by mud, mud comes from the translation of my last name

these are product and industrial design works, both university projects and my own designs

I have started this project to showcase my approach in design about tamas sarkozi // design by mud

the basic idea was to keep the UI design simple, so the main focus remains on the pictures, projects

most of my designs could be purchased so I have added shop and YOU feature to make it possible through website, not just via instagram website is still under construction, the basic code has written for it - I have started learn HTML and react to build it on my own

this is the base grid - colums and margins of the UI

one of my favorite things to do is to create system of grids and later working in this hierarchy information and text always on the left side, attached to the right margin

pictures and navigation bar attached to the right margin

simply scrolling through content from product design to UX/UI design after I have created base grid and wireframe I choose the UI design elements

YOU is about to make design decision by yourself on my works, reason for that is simple, I have got many request to make modification on design which I can not remember so to make our life less painful I have added this feature to the website

kodály 50 booklet design task about the 50th anniversary of death of Hungarian musician and composer Zoltán Kodály I used his silhouette 50 times on the cover of the booklet, for the colours I chose base magenta, black, blue and the font is paper white DOSIS

rosehip tea packaging design the task was to design packaging for a tea It is made of recycled paper, simple design on the front about how you can make a tea out of it, the good causes and illustration of rosehip

I used FŐTÁV logo, disassembled it and created a christmas tree from it

culture vulture magazine design this project was about to design a cover and two facing pages for a fictional printed magazine

cover design digital overdose was the name of this fictional magazine edition I used complementary colours, gradient for fun I put the famous Hungarian Horse in it but I over photoshoped it, so it is barely recognisable
