Studio 431 is a full-service resource that’s with you every step of the way of your project—from initial idea to final installation. We can help refine custom designs ro engineer and manufacture site elements.

WHY USE STUDIO 431

We specialize in high-profile installations and branded environments, partnering with designers to turn creative concepts into inspiring landscapes. Whether it's custom seating, planters, transit shelters, custom concrete, sculptural structure, or even something never-before seen, we provide our partners with a Premier Experience that delivers a Premier Result.

The Studio 431 team establishes budgets and schedules, puts approval mechanisms in place, defines appropriate manufacturing techniques, coordinates communication and manages project flow from start to finish. Our engineering, supply chain, project management, sales and manufacturing

We help with accurate pricing expectations – not guesses.

We help establish real expectations on lead times. We can provide preliminary schedules, highlighting milestones and time needed at each step of the way between PO and delivery. Lead times are approximately 7-9 months depending on the project therefore beginning the discussion early is essential.

We can provide updated quotes along the lifetime of a project (ROM, GMP, formal bid, revisions). We don’t like change orders, so we bid projects tight and accurately. We could review quotes from others to see if they are taking shortcuts or not meeting spec if there are bid swings in our pricing compared to theirs. Quotes are valid for 60 days just like site furniture.

We assign a PM and Engineer to every project. That PM will be the main POC from PO to delivery, communicating day to day with the contractor/customer.

We coordinate shop drawings and have check-ins along the way, so everyone is clear on expectations for any on-site assembly. Contractors can give us feedback on this and relay site conditions that we can consider during shop drawings so it’s accounted for before we’re in production.

We can coordinate site scans if needed during engineering.

We put packaged products on skids that are labeled so contractors know what goes where, when they are offloading and locating on site. Some customers like transit authorities have even requested diagrams of what skids are where on trucks so the offloading team can know where to pick from the truck first for their needs.

If there are fit-up issues on site during installation, our team will assess and possibly send a team (engineer/PM) to the site to assess further on site to determine a solution.

If something is damaged, we have shop drawings with part numbers so replacement components can be reordered. Most parts are labeled to help identify what needs to be labeled today or years down the road.
