Two Paws Up! Inaugural Bow Wow Film Festival Grand Success! By Pam Price PALM SPRINGS, CA Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, and the Palm Springs Cultural Center were proud to present the first short-film festival devoted to dogs and the human bond. Over 300 ticket holders joined in the festive evening! Bow Wow Film Festival, Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and the Palm Springs Cultural Center offered a fun evening of short films featuring our lovable canine companions on Friday, November 15, 2019, in the Historic Camelot Theatre at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. A select group of 75

special guests enjoyed a 6:00 PM VIP reception catered by Chef Tanya’s Kitchen with dog-themed specialty cocktails provided by sponsor Tito’s Vodka and wines by Rescue Dog Wines of Lodi, CA. The festive reception was followed by a 7:00 PM screening of dog-centric short films. Before the movie, audience members “oohed and ahhed” at the preshow slide show of favorite pet photos submitted by community pet owners and enthusiasts. Culminating the evening was an audience selected top three awards from the popular pet
