‘Say a Little Prayer’ Music legend and undisputed Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin dies aged 76. Soul music icon Aretha Franklin has died, surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Detroit, following a long battle with illness. She was 76 years old.

By Desert Star Staff Desert Hot Springs, Ca.The City of Desert Hot Springs and the Community and Cultural Affairs Commission invite you to join us at Guy Tedesco Park on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM for the third installment of Jammin’ in the Desert, a series of free open-air concerts scheduled to run on the third Friday of each month through September. “The third concert in the summer series spotlights the music of Latin America. “We are very excited to have Coreografi’as VMR and Grupo Folorico Tonatzin, two groups who are made up of different ages sharing their talents and beauty with us. We are including concerts for the different backgrounds in our community for everyone to experience.
