Welcome to the Desert of Florida! More especially - Welcome to Duuuuuuuuval! The Oasis of Jacksonville! Home of Rabia Temple #8 and Rabia Court #25, host Temple and Court for this year’s Desert Conference/Gala Day; and my home Temple where my journey as a Noble of the Mystic Shrine began.

It is truly an honor to serve as the Imperial Deputy of the Desert of Florida and have the opportunity to work with so many awesome Nobles and Daughters within the Desert. Because your hard work, contributions, commitment to excellence, and the countless number of hours you spend working in your Oases, we continue to be THE BEST Desert in the Domain!

Greetings Nobles and Daughters,

I am very proud to be a Daughter in the Desert of Florida. I am indeed grateful to the Temples and Courts for your continuous support and dedication. As we convene in the Oasis of Jacksonville for this 2023 Gala Day Conference, I hope that you will enjoy the many experiences that Rabia Temple #8 and Rabia Court #25 have planned for your enjoyment. Each Noble and Daughter has labored tirelessly to provide a safe and enjoyable weekend for all participants. This weekend, it is my hope that you will learn something new, meet a new friend and develop a strong sense of family because We are Florida!

To our guests, an essential element to what we are here to do is for you to enjoy your weekend. Thank you for coming.

Please remember to follow the safety protocols outlined by the Imperial Council and Imperial Court. Together, we will weather this storm and soon return to our practices of pleasant remembrances of Gala Day.

It is truly an honor to extend warm and sincere greetings from the Oasis of Jacksonville, during this 75th Desert Conference Gala Day. I sincerely appreciate you investing your time and energy in gracing our city. I strongly encourage you to explore the Creator given beauty that abounds in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas.

I must also sincerely applaud Our Desert Deputies in their dedication to support the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine and the Imperial Court ’s devotion to the support, uplift, and nurturing of our youth…evidenced by this year’s record number of Youth Participants!
