This is thanks to stronger employment, allowing more homeowners to sell and buy, plus those who lost homes to foreclosure are looking to own again. According to the Phoenix Housing Market Letter, this contributed to a 55 percent increase in new home permits from last July, and a booming 78 percent jump this August from 2014.
