2019 is half over, and hard to believe how fast each month goes by, so far in the first 6 months of 2019 we’ve seen homes in the Orange Tree area appreciate approximately 2.7% so we are on track for an annual appreciation between 4 to 6% As the economy starts to slow the Federal Reserve is taking notice, with all the predictions of higher interest rates it looks as if we will see anywhere from 1 to 3 interest rate cuts in 2019, this will certainly stimulate more buyers. Selling your home in the hot summer months is worth it, many homes come off the market during the hot summer only to come back on the market in the late fall, keep your home on the market, less inventory means more buyers at your door. There are so many people who have a real estate license, understanding the market goes a long way, put your trust in an agent who sells in your area, and has the proven track record. Obviously a home is usually the largest investment a person makes, like you I have a vested interest living in Orange Tree and want to keep our values high in the Orange Tree area. Keeping prices above $300 per square foot in our area, don’t settle for less.
