DESCO Charolais Farm began in 1989 when Daren decided to purchase a Charolais bull from LeRoy Myers as an investment for a college fund. Over the years, the herd continued to grow as he is working towards creating outliers for carcass traits, specifically marbling. Daren has been able to acquire some of the best growth and carcass trait females from the Eggleston, Fink, JMAR and Daren currently devotes all his time to embryo transfer work, his other passion. He does intensive Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer to advance genetic progress to the maximum potential.
