To simulate natural habitats to fulfill social, physical and behavioral needs of animals.

1.2 OBJECTIVES:

• Simulating animal habitats • Understanding existing animals and their social, physical and behavioral needs • Animal human interaction, creating visual experiences • Designing the zoo in such a way that animals are comfortably placed in a naturalistic environment • Creating visually seamless animal enclosures with safety measure • Understanding the basic natural parameters existing on the site for zoo design

1.3 METHODOLOGY:

• Site analysis • Site plan • SWOT analysis • Understanding natural parameters of the site • Understand the animals habitat in present zoo • Chosen some animals from different categories to understand their habitats in natural condition • To understand these, taken some examples of zoo all around the world where these animals are present so comparison can be done • Listing down all the animals and what is the existing sizes of the enclosures they have given to them and what is ideal size for the particular animal • Understand the area requirement and how to design a naturalistic environment • Redesigning the zoo after understanding all the issues and requirements

1.4 SCOPE:

Redesigning parts of zoo

1.5 LIMITATIONS:

Research is limited to the existing fauna species which are in zoo
