Vt., for many years. Marilyn loved taking walks on her property to enjoy nature and she especially loved bird watching and all animals. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include one daughter, Regina (Boyce) Fernandez and her husband, Craig of Crown Point; one son, Kevin Boyce and his companion, Kimm Lathrop of Vergennes, Vt.; four grandchildren, Brittany Bombard and her husband, Jason, Cullin Johnston, Stephanie Glidden, and Brooklyn Huestis; and three great-grandchildren, Jaden Bombard, Makennia Bombard and Karter Bombard. She is also survived by her companion of 17 years, John Kordziel, Jr. of Crown Point. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.

Nov. 27, 1931-March 5, 2012 SCHROON LAKE — Henry Dimick passed away Monday, March 5, 2012, after a brief illness at Glens Falls Hospital. Henry was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Lock Muller, the son of Edward and Marion (Warren) Dimick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea. He worked for Pitkin Ford for several years and then founded his own business, Schroon Lake Sunoco, where he earned a reputation as a fine mechanic and fair businessman. Henry loved the outdoors and was known for his skill as a hunter and fisherman. He also loved to fly his Cessna 150. He was a member of the Fish and Game Club for 60 years and volunteered for the Schroon Lake Fire Department for 17 years. Henry was predeceased by his parents and his brother Arthur. He is survived by his loving companion Arlene Whitty of Schroon, his daughter Nancy Dimick and grandson Andrew Dimick of Madison, Ala., and his many dear friends and neighbors. There will be an interment ceremony with military honors at Schroon Lake Cemetery in the summer, date to be announced later in the paper. Arrangements under the direction of Kelly Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Schroon Lake Fire Department or the Schroon Lake Emergency Squad.

Marilyn Christine Mack Boyce July 5, 1941-March 6, 2012 CROWN POINT — Marilyn Christine Mack Boyce, 70, of Crown Point, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Center of Burlington, Vt. Born in Brockton, Mass., July 5, 1941, she was the daughter of Frederick and Mary (Shavalski) Mack. Marilyn was a resident of Crown Point for most of her life. She was employed by B.F. Waltraut Anna Meissner Jan. 3, 1924 - March 5, 2012 LAKE PLACID — Waltraut Anna Meissner, 88, passed away peacefully Monday, March 5, 2012 at AMC-Uihlein, Lake Placid. She was born in Marburg, Germany Jan. 3, 1924 the daughter of Johannes and Dora Peter (Weichert) Fett. She met and was married to Hans Meissner, a soldier in Patton's Army for 20 years. She became a United States Citizen in 1950. She was a wonderful mother to Hanns Meissner of West Sand Lake, and Margaret Boettcher of Saranac Lake. She enjoyed reading, spiritually, music and hiking. Professionally she worked in real estate and medical records in New Jersey. Those celebrating her life are her brother, Dieter Weichert of Dusseldorf, her daughter in law Linda Muro, wife of Hanns, Caitlin Meissner-Chiriga and her husband Tafadzwa, Lindsay Meissner and Kristopher Boettcher. A family Celebration will be held in the spring. Friends wishing to remember Waltraut make donations in her memory to The ARC of Rensselaer County, 79 102nd St., Troy, N.Y. 12180. The M.B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangement.

Matthew P. Bussey of Ticonderoga, a junior majoring in engineering & management, has received the Margaret Van Hamlin Haddad Endowed Scholarship at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Emily J. Palmer of Ticonderoga has been selected for membership in the St. Lawrence University chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the national biology honorary society. Palmer is a member of the Class of 2012 at St. Lawrence in Canton and is majoring in biology. Palmer graduated from Ticonderoga High School.

Tom Chapin Aug. 3, 1952 to March 3, 2012 KEENE — Born in Cambridge, NY, died in Keene, NY. Tom was an incredibly well loved man by many. Witty, talented, intelligent and a man of few words, but they were always worth listening to. His Memorial will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Horicon Avenue, Warrensburg, NY, March 18th at 2 pm.
