Live Spartan broadcasts planned Castleton State College and the Northeast Sports Network (NSN) have Northeast Sports Networkannounced the programming schedule for the 2010 spring season. NSN will webcast at least eight home games this spring, featuring men's and women's lacrosse, baseball and softball. Castleton will also team with NSN to carry any home tournament contests as well. Jack Healey, 19-time winner of the Vermont Sportscaster of the Year and voice of the Spartans, will do play-by-play for each broadcast. Northeast Sports NetworkIn addition to
watching the games on the internet, fans in the Rutland Region will be able to tune in to live simulcast on Rutland’s community access network, PEG TV. PEG, which is an acronym for its three channels: Public (channel 15), Education (channel 20) and Government (channel 21), will simulcast on its public channel 15 for local cable subscribers. Currently we are taking advertising for the “Everything Equine” and the “Best of Gymkhana” program guides. Both of these events are held at the Champlain Valley Exposition. The first publication for Everything Equine will be printed on 4/17, deadline 4/1. The second, Best of Gymkhana will be printed on 8/28, deadline 8/14.
