BUSINESS POLICIES
MINIMUMS
$200 opening order. No reorder minimum.
DELIVERY TIME
Product is to be ordered from s.a.l.t. sisters at least 7 to 14 business days before needing it. In fairness to all s.a.l.t. Sisters customers, orders are filled based on the order date and shipped in the order they are received. Declined credit cards or changed orders are repositioned.
PAYMENT METHODS
Shipment will be made after receipt of acceptable legal tender is received. Acceptable tender includes Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Electronic Funds Transfer. All information (name on card, credit card number, expiration date, security code and billing address) must be given when order is placed to avoid delays in order processing. Declined credit card orders are repositioned. Once three (3) orders have been placed and paid for via credit card, s.a.l.t. sisters will consider extending credit of NET 30, pending the return of the completed Credit Application and Credit Terms Agreement. If any two (2) payments, not necessarily consecutively, are received late, the customer will be placed on a “Due Upon Receipt” basis and will be expected to pay via credit card at time of shipment. s.a.l.t. sisters may decide to return the customer to NET 30 terms upon paying 3 more orders with a credit card, with a customer review. A $40.00 service charge will apply to all returned checks, each occurrence. Accounts will be responsible for all necessary fees and charges (legal, collection, etc.) incurred in the collection on any monies due “to” s.a.l.t. Sisters. Shipping and handling An automatic $10 per carton fee will be added to the account if an incorrect/incomplete address is given resulting in additional fees being charged to s.a.l.t. sisters by the shipping company.
DAMAGE CLAIMS
Any damage claims must be reported to the carrier (UPS, USPS, etc) immediately. Save the packaging and damaged goods for possible inspection. Contact s.a.l.t. sisters offices after you have notified the carrier and send pictures of damages to customerservice@saltsisters.net. Any damages must be filed with the office within three (3) business days from receipt of shipment.
MISCELLANEOUS
Stores are not to open a bank account, credit card, website, email address or any business advertising using s.a.l.t. sisters’ name.
PRODUCT LIABILITY
Product liability remains with the manufacturer. Product sampling is encouraged in order to sell the product. The retailer is to ensure those applicable governing agency rules, laws, ordinances, etc., are to be adhered to. The retailer acknowledges that rules of the governing agencies, i.e. Health Department, are being adhered to by the retailer and by any person(s) that comes under the retailer’s hire/management. All products must be handled in a safe manner, both in storage of the product and the sampling at stores/events.
PRICING IS IN U.S. CURRENCY
s.a.l.t. sisters, LLC reserves the right to limit/refuse the sale of the product and to modify and/or amend these general understandings at any time. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
CASE PACKS
Bagged products are sold in case packs of 4. Charmane’s Bread Dip 5 oz and Tuscan Farmhouse Blend 5 oz are sold in case packs of 2. Infused Sea Salts are sold in cases of 12, or split case of 12, or as a Variety Pack of 24. Bulk bags, samples and testers are sold individually.
BULK SIZES
Our bulk sizes of 2 pounds, 10 pounds and 25 pounds are not for resale. They are intended for repackaging or food service only.
MAP Pricing
Resellers must not advertise s.a.l.t. sisters products below the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) set in the current MAP Price List. This policy applies to all public advertising, including online marketplaces, reseller websites, social media, print ads, emails, digital marketing, and in-store signage visible from outside. While resellers may set their own selling prices, advertised prices must comply with MAP guidelines.
