Our Sugar Free candies are sweetened with maltitol, a high-powered sweetener made from the hydrogenation of maltose, which is made from starch. Maltitol is about 90% as sweet as sugar and doesn’t promote tooth decay. Our Sugar Free candies made with maltitol are not reduced calorie, but are slightly lower in carbohydrates. Enjoy!
